The Rochester Memorial Day Parade returns for 2026!!!
The Rochester Veterans Council will host our Memorial Day parade on Monday, May 25th. The parade will feature a variety of military units, veteran’s groups, local marching bands, Police, Fire, EMS, local sponsor companies and more. Parade step off will be at Holy Rosary Church on North Main Street at 10:30am sharp with the parade making its way to the Arched Bridge over the Cocheco River. There will be a short stoppage of the parade to conduct Wreath Memorial Service at the bridge. Once finished it will continue down North Main Street through downtown onto South Main Street and concluding just past the Rochester Commons in time for ceremonies at the Field of Honor.
Please support, sponsor, and attend our patriotic hometown parade to honor our U.S. Military personnel who died while serving with devotion, loyalty and commitment in the Unites States Armed Forces to keep the freedom we all enjoy together!
Thank you and we look forward to seeing you there!

The Rochester Veterans Council has chosen local legend Robert “Cider” Berry to be our Grand Marshal for the 2026 Rochester Memorial Day Parade. Cider is a Navy veteran who has been involved in our city for many years with various boards, community groups and has received awards such the Rochester Sports Hall Of Fame - Chairmans Award, and Rochester Citizen of the Year in 2005. He is currently the Community Relations Director at Eastern Propane and is always supporting the veteran community. It is our pleasure to have him ride with us for that very important event.
